If so, Ignite Lansing is the only place you should be September 24th. They want to hear about your idea! They aren’t looking for business plans, we want to hear new ideas which have the potential to create new value.
Lansing knows how smart & creative MSU students are. That is why they, in partnership with Spotlight Michigan and YSG Lansing, are hosting an event that is highlighting MSU students and their ideas and unveiling some really exciting and new entrepreneurial tools designed for people with ideas!
7 MSU students will be selected from different student organizations on MSU’s campus to participate in an idea competition, to be judged by 4 East Lansing area entrepreneurs. The winner will be automatically enlisted in a new program called Skunkworks, which is run by YSG group and is designed to help students work their ideas into tomorrow’s innovations and enterprises.
The event is free, and aside from the competition, students and businesspeople in attendance will get the opportunity to network. YSG will also be unveiling their Entrepreneurial Mentorship program, which will pair student entrepreneurs up with successful entrepreneurs in the area. There’s a chance you could meet your mentor at this event.
